Vision Church Duclos (in the Cabaret zone) is the heart of the entire Vision Church movement in Haiti. It’s where everything began, and where God continues to move in powerful ways.

It’s hard to believe the church started as nothing more than sticks in the ground and a few palm fronds for shade. Over time, the structure has grown through several stages, and the church family has exploded in size. People are getting saved. People are being discipled. The growth is almost impossible to describe.

About a year ago, on New Year’s Eve, something unforgettable happened. More than 800 people showed up for the service. Our brand-new, large building was packed—standing room only. People crowded around the outside, pressing against window openings and doors, hoping to be part of what God was doing. With that many people, you’d expect noise and chaos… but it was silent. Everyone was overwhelmed by God’s presence.

Pastor Rosi serves as the senior pastor of all Vision Churches, but this is his home base. Many leaders—both men and women—have been trained and raised up here. One of the strongest ministries is the women’s ministry, which doesn’t just serve inside the church. Every week, these women go into the neighborhood, knocking on doors and praying for anyone who needs help—emotional, physical, or spiritual.

Because there are no working clinics, no medicine, and often no doctors, people are desperate for hope. Many are lying on blankets on concrete floors with fevers or infections that could become life-threatening. These women lay hands on the sick, pray with bold faith, and we’ve seen countless divine healings. People are saved. Marriages are restored. Families find hope again. Every week the momentum grows.

Pastor Rosi often joins them because he loves the people deeply. But he always lets the women lead—this ministry is theirs, and God uses them powerfully.

The main church is also home to our Sewing School, where young adults are trained and launched into self-sustaining work. We’ve also started small businesses here—like phone charging and a bakery—each one helping the community and creating jobs.

Vision Church Duclos also serves as a leadership incubator, training and sending leaders to help plant or support other Vision Churches across Haiti.

The newest Duclos church building is beautiful—four times larger than the previous structure. Even before the gang crisis reached the area, the new building was already filling up week after week. Our elementary school is also located at this site, serving the next generation with education and daily hope.

This is Vision Church Duclos. The mothership. The heartbeat. And a place where God continues to move in ways that leave us speechless.
