Vision Church Vital stands in the heart of Port-au-Paix—a hard place where daily life presses in, yet faith continues to shine through ordinary people who simply trust God. Today, Pastor Rosi (along with Pastor Mevoi) leads this faithful congregation with humility and strength.

Vital began decades ago as one of Pastor Rosinel’s father’s early church plants. Built from whatever materials the community could gather, it became more than a structure; it became a home for believers shaped by a deep and enduring faith that continues to bind them together.

After Pastor Rosinel’s father passed, the church united with the Vision Church Haiti movement. Since then, Vision Church Vital has become one of our most steady and growing congregations. On any given Sunday, 50–70 believers pack into the simple building, squeezing onto plain wooden benches beneath a thatched roof. There’s no sound system, no comforts—just wholehearted worship and a resilience that speaks loudly of God’s faithfulness.

These believers are hungry for Scripture. They are devoted to their community. And they have stayed strong through hardships that would have closed the doors of many other churches.

Under Pastor Rosinel’s leadership, the church is thriving. Rosi absorbs Scripture like a sponge, turning those quiet conversations with God into months-long teachings that reshape lives. As he pours into the congregation, leaders—both men and women—are emerging, prepared to serve throughout Haiti. Haitian believers discipling other Haitian believers, within their own culture and context, in ways that last and multiply.

This is Vision Church Vital. Simple. Steadfast. Foundational for its community. A vivid reminder that God builds His church in ordinary places, using ordinary materials, through ordinary people willing to say, “Yes.”

Current Needs

Because the building is still made of thatch and simple gathered materials, the church has several practical needs to strengthen the structure and bless the congregation.

  • Benches: More seating for a growing congregation of 50–70 people.
  • Concrete Block: Materials needed to strengthen or rebuild the walls.
  • Tin Roofing: A durable alternative to the current thatched roof, offering safety and weather protection.

Your generosity helps build a safer, stronger gathering place for this faithful community.
